In the ruins of a dead city, something forgotten opened its eyes.

A junkyard at the edge of a dead city. A silver capsule, half-buried in the mud. A small bird lands on its surface and taps the metal with its beak — once, then again.

And inside, a pair of blue eyes opens for the very first time.

Mono Mars 0 is the story of a discarded robot named Mono. He wakes with no name, no memory, and no idea why he was thrown away. In the ruins of Nexapolis — a city humanity has abandoned to the rain and rust — Mono begins to walk. Without knowing where. Without knowing why. He just walks.

This is a story about an imperfect being trying to survive in a world that demands perfection.

We are all a little broken.

Those who built Mono called him a defect. Because he didn't work as planned. Because he felt too much, hesitated too long.

But then again — so do humans.

We are not efficient. We are swept away by emotion, repeat our mistakes, and sometimes fall apart for no reason at all. And yet we reach out to one another. Even when our hands are trembling. Even when they are rusted.

Does an imperfect being deserve to exist?

The World

Nexapolis was once the pinnacle of human civilization. Now it is a forest of empty skyscrapers, flooded streets, and machines still executing their final instructions long after their masters fled. The sky is torn open. The streets belong to scrap.

Humanity left for somewhere better. Or so they believed. But the things left behind are still here — and in the middle of all of it, a pair of blue eyes opens for the first time.
